For over 30 years, the Mainly Mozart Festival has been gathering the greatest collection of orchestral players in North America.

This conclave of musical champions comes together in San Diego every June for exclusive concerts at the intimate Balboa Theatre.

Music Director Michael Francis is guiding the orchestra in a six-year exploration of Mozart as a composer and personality. As we enter the fourth year of this journey, we come into the heart of Mozart’s music and explore the beginning of Vienna, The Golden Years (Part I).

The 2019 Festival features beloved Mozart masterpieces such as the Piano Concerto No. 20, and the Prague Symphony. Other 2019 Festival highlights include Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6, Beethoven’s Violin Concerto, and Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 5.
